Lab 3 ADS ZIP package updated for ADS 2011. For this workspace to work you will need to install the component library Analog_Parts_vendor_kit. A document explaining this process is also now posted.

Links to mbed.ord and PN_seq.cpp added under Lab 2.

A ZIP package of MATLAB routines for collecting scope and spectrum/network analyzer data via GPIB is now updated. See the center tab Agilent 4395A Manuals & GPIB Support. In particular, the file 'getDataAnalyzer.m' has been fixed so log frequency axis data can be captured directly. You will need to plot using semilogx, i.e., with the output data simply do semilogx(data.x,data.y).

Lecture notes and Matlab m-code developed for Dr. Wickert's teaching of ECE4625 is available on the ECE 4625/5625 Web Site.

Obtaining Mathematica

Mathematica is available across the campus due to the CU system wide site license. This system-site license also means that students may install their own copy on home computers as well. Catalog Course Description

Laboratory experiments demonstrating material taught in ECE 4625/5625. Use is made of spectrum analysis to study baseband signals and signal processors. Topics include AM, FM, PM, sampling, TDM, digital modulation, errors, and complete communication systems.
Corequisite: ECE 4625
