"Flying to a conference, I logged into EAS Cloud Infrastructure on a Wi-Fi enabled flight at 30,000 feet and started a simulation -- results were waiting for me when I landed!"

Project Lead the Way

working with K-12

Project Lead The Way is a national program forming partnerships among public schools, higher education institutions and the private sector. Through pre-engineering courses in high schools and an integrated math, science, and technology curriculum in middle schools, the program seeks to increase the quantity and quality of engineers graduating from our educational system.

The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) is the Colorado Affiliate University for Project Lead The Way. UCCS provides quality PLTW summer teacher training and ongoing training and networking opportunities throughout the school year. The campus also provides college engineering graduate credit opportunities for middle and high school teachers and undergraduate engineering credit opportunities for secondary school students in PLTW-certified schools. Faculty from UCCS partner with PLTW master teachers to hold a two-week summer training institute for PLTW teachers.
